SUIT UP

I’ve never been a fan of classic suits. Somehow, I hardly feel comfortable in them. So, shopping for classic suits to wear for formal meeting was not that fun…

The pants would barely fit like I wanted, my upper body would look weird with long sleeved vest ( I have quite a big bonnet for my petite frame ). Without a doubt, I was opting for the wrong cuts based on my body type and assets. I admit, I have a better sense of style now. Sometimes, I look at old photos of myself and I am horrified haha. No jokes, I have no idea how and why my friends would let me go out dressed like I did! Thankfully, that is something of the past now and yes we are still friends ;)

A few weeks ago, I was invited to In Wear's showroom to pick up a few items to style. Funny enough, I was immediately attracted towards whites.

I am wearing In Wear from head to toe : the sleeveless vest, the pants and the turtleneck top. In Wear is a Danish brand ( well known in Europe ) and I am obsessed with their clothing. The brand exudes confidence, ambition and is made for the modern femme who is always on the go; determined to realize her dreams.

From the quality fabrics to the feminine and edgy design, the least I can say is that I am conquered. This all white look means business and is definitely how I'd SUIT UP. It's chic and makes a bold statement paired with these leopard heels.

The bottoms are actually track pants ( comfortable and lightweight ). The ideal casual pinstripes suiting pants and they have pockets ( win-win ). The Zoya waistcoat has a good stretch and the waist belt is a great detail. You can easily create a whole new look by wearing this vest with a denim skirt and pumps with the belt tied up. The Turtleneck top is a classic piece, everybody needs a similar style in their wardrobe. It's versatile and literally looks good with everything.
