T. LEES SOAP CO.

Tricia is the sweetest girl boss who has turned her hobby into a successful Montréal small business creating high quality beauty and home ambiance products, handmade with natural ingredients. I've had the honour to meet Tricia in her cute little shop. We had the most genuine and interesting conversation about not only the story behing her company, the production process but also about being an entrepreneur.

*Disclaimer* you won't want to leave her atelier, it smeels so good you have no idea!!If you've been reading my blog, you know that I am slowing getting rid of all the products loaded with harmful chemicals that we use on a daily basis, sometimes not even knowing. When I read about T. Lees Soap Co. and their philosophy, it felt like it was a perfect match.

This one woman show business prones minimal packaging and reduces production costs to focus on one thing: create carefully handcrafted products in small batches. Our meeting ended with a little shelves shopping and I went back home with some goodies. As you can always expect from me, I cannot keep the good stuff to me. My blog is all about that right?! Sharing is caring darlings.I don't want this article to be too long to read guys, but let's get into a few details about what I've been using at home.

UNWIND WITH SOY CANDLES

Rain soy candle

At the end of a busy day ( or any day to be honest ) I like to unwind and release the stress by making my place feel cozy and relaxing. Enter my obsession with candles. Since I wanted a less toxic alternative, I've been looking into using soy candles which usually burn longer and cleaner. I mean isn' this great? Soy candles , most of the time , cost more than regular ones, but you have to take into consideration the benefits and choose products that align with your lifestyle.T. Lees Soap Co. soy candles are made with "USA grown non-GMO soy beans blended with 100% natural botanical oils" . Tricia uses a mix of synthetic fragrance oils + 100% essential oils. The scent of her candles is so good, not too strong, not overbearing just enough to make your place feel like heaven. We are currently loving on the No 6 Rain . There's so much scents to choose from in her shop, everyone is sure to find something she/he loves.

HAND & BODY LOTION

Amber and Rosewood body lotion

Girlfriend, you need this lotion in your life: Amber and Rosewood. First of all, my husband is a fan of the smell, which is quite a bonus! Secondly and most importantly, the lotion is very hydrating and leaves my skin feeling soft. Not surprised there's Shea butter in there ( I use 100% pure raw Shea butter as part of our family skincare essential during the winter, it's the best ). Also, side note: I was pleasantly happy to know the Shea butter she uses is from my home country . I don't want to brag but we do produce the best Shea butter back home ;) There's also sweet almond and Cocoa butter as part of the key ingredients.

SHOWER TIME

rosemary and mint t. lees soap

I'm one lady who prefers taking a shower rather than a bath ... and when in the shower, I'll opt for a soap instead of a shower gel! Anyone with me?! I kind of feel like I'm cleaner when I use a soap. Therefore, all natural is my first option ( love the goat milk ones at drugstores ). The Rosemary & Mint soap lived up to my expectations: it smells divine, fresh, cleans my skin the right way while keeping it hydrated. Did I mention it is natural, vegan and cruelty free!! Win-Win darling ;) The main ingredients: Aloe Vera and Rosemary which we all know the benefits. Next one on my list is the Lavender Goat Milk soap, pretty sure I'll be obsessed!

HYDRATING LIP BALM

Handmade skincare

I'm obsessed with Starbucks Chai Latte, so I did not even think twice before going with this one. I really love how hydrated my lips feel after each use, and the shine as well. I've been using this balm everyday: I don't need a lipgloss anymore. T. Lees Soap Co. lip balms are made with natural ingredients like coconut butter, mango butter, Vitamin E and beeswax. These will definitely also be my go-to for colder weather.  If you're thinking about switching up your skincare / home goods, I strongly recommend that you give T. Lees Soap Co. a try. You will love darling.
