BLACK AND BROWN OOTD
My favourite holiday of all time is definitely Christmas; so I'm kind of happy Halloween is a souvenir now ha! My son is the only one who enjoyed it this year. He was a dressed as a firefighter! He's been obsessed with anything related to firefighters and requested the costume almost a month ago haha!As for me, I can now legitimately start baking Christmas cookies, thinking about gifts ideas etc ...
Celebrating Christmas here always feels bitter sweet because my big family lives overseas, in my hometown. Christmas Festivities back home are so fun: they're are celebrated en grand with a ton of good food, friends, cousins, uncles, aunties! We usually like to take our vacation from work in December so that we can go back home — not happening this year — but I'll be be celebrating with my two sidekicks and I could not be happier. Also, is it too early to start suggesting gorgeous clothing pieces for the holidays parties / events as well?! I don't think so ;)
This pleated skirt is so classic and timeless! It's a super versatile piece in my opinion. Paired here with a turtleneck , it would also look darling with a cozy sweater for casual parties or with a lace top for a more elegant look! The pleated skirt is a wardrobe staple and can be mixed and matched as you like.If you've checked out my latest trouvailles post, then you must have spotted this pair of real suede booties from H&M. Love at first sight, and I had to have them.
The dark brown colour is gorgeous but I was not sure they would be easily styled. Mixing black and brown has been considered as a fashion faux-pas for a long time ( and may be some people still think it is ) , however, I like to break the rules and actually think they look great together! What do you think?
I hope you are loving this ootd, let me know your thoughts below.
