5 CAFÉS & BRUNCH PLACES TO VISIT WHILE IN MONTRÉAL

5 cafés & brunch places to visit while in Montreal Ok ... more like 4 cafés and 1 Brunch spots lolIf you're planning to visit our beautiful city, there's so many places to go: some super popular ... other slightly. One thing for sure is that a few days is not enough to enjoy all the things the city has to offer. The silver lining: you'll fall in love and you'll come back ha! Today I wanted to suggest a few spots ( I've visited all of them ) that you might want to add to your list. I've been living in Montréal for more than 9 years and I'm still finding gems ( or may be I was just living under the rocks ). I hope I can make this an habit and may be share pictures of dishes and interiors of great spots in Montréal City.1 . Leaves Café | An all vegan espresso bar. Where we actually snapped the above picture. I love this little café in downtown Montréal. Close to all the main shopping boutiques ( Eaton Center, Ogilvy , Holt Renfrew ). My usual order: hot chocolate with coconut milk, so so good. The last time I was there, I saw the barista execute the cutest little bear shape on a latté. You bet I'm asking the same next time I go. If you know me, you know I go for the good food but also for the interiors; this café is the cutest. Wood, plants and cactus everywhere.Where? 2051 Rue de la Montagne2 . L'Entre-Pots | The only brunch restaurant I'm sharing today. This is such a quaint little place in Le Plateau area. Most of all, the brunch is outrageously delicious. We went there with our son who just loves to eat outside as well: can't blame him, he's a concentrate of my husband and I. The decor at l'Entre-Pots is rustique and welcoming. It's a small place so you might have to wait in line but it'll be worth it.Where ? 1995 Rue Masson3 . Le Café Bloom | Stumbled on this coffee shop while visiting the cutest little boutique in Pointe-St-Charles: boutique Krem ( pssst you can now find a selection of designs there yeyy!! ). People go to Café Bloom for brunch, delicious patisseries, good coffee and hot chocolate, to work ( the wifi is free ) etc ... It seems like this spot is a neighbourhood favourite.Where ? 1940 Rue du Centre4 . Café Myriade | I usually go to the one downtown, located in the Club Monaco lower floor on one of the most famous streets in Montréal: Sainte-Catherine. I mean, a café in Club Monaco. Gorgeous! Oh and the floor is so instagrammable, mentionning this here, just in case lol. I've tried their hot chocolate and it was good. Sorry guys, I'm really not a coffee drinker! Whenever I'm with my husband I take a sip of his lattés but I never order coffee for me.Where ? 1000 Sainte-Catherine West5 . Chez Boris | I go to Boris for the authentic small sugar donuts. I always ask them to coat with sugar only, not cinnamon. This girl is picky lol. They serisouly are delicious and remind me the ones the amazing hard working Madames make in the streets back home. A sensorial trip back to Mama Africa guaranteed every single time. Of course, they offer hot and cold drinks and their famous donut sandwich. I should also mention, the prices are surprisingly inexpensive for what you get ;)Where? 5151 Avenue du Parc

If you're from Montréal do you have any suggestions of local spots I should visit ?! I hope you've all enjoyed getting to know some of my favourite places in Montréal. Want more of this kind of content on my blog, please let me know in the comments. I will gladly oblige ;)
