AU CHAUD WITH LA CANADIENNE
Ô CANADA!I've been living in Canada for 15 years, and one thing I've learned about Canadian winter is that in order to survive the brutal cold temperatures, you got to invest in quality and warm pieces. Winter season is quite long here (from about November to March), so it is no joke! I believe in quality over quantity, and this applies to winter essentials even more. I’d rather invest in a good coat and cozy boots I can wear over and over again, and stay warm while still looking stylish and polished. This past weekend, Jacques and I headed to Mont-Tremblant to spend a few hours and enjoy the view. Can you believe this was actually my first time there?! Yes, I know, a shame ;). We had such a good time and the scenery was absolutely magic ( it was also snowing, more magic! )I'm wearing La Canadienne from head to toe. I'm excited to partner once again with this Canadian company I truly love. The FLANDERS coat is absolutely perfect: the A-line silhouette gives it a nice shape, it's very warm ( down-filled ), and most of all incredibly light — I've never been a fan of bulky coats. On top of that, the hood can be easily removed before dry cleaning. The TAMI boots are luxurious and practical: I love the fact that these pull-on shearling boots can be worn up — for those 20 cm of snow we get sometimes— or down. They are handmade in Canada with genuine Italian shearling shaft, wool insole and waterproof suede foot ( If you follow me on Instagram, I've shared a video of the ultimate waterproof test when I was in the store, it's impressive! ).During the cold days, accessories are as important as the essentials. To complete the look, a scarf, hat and gloves were mandatory. I sticked to black for the CARESS gloves. I love their clean design and they keep my hands toasty. Same for the cutest and coziest hat, HANNA , handmade in Italy and adorned with an adorable pom-pom at the crown. The FISHER geometric scarf ties the whole look together. It's made of 100% wool, so is it soft? It certainly is! Love the mix of colours and patterns on it as well.
