PASSION FRESH
Fresh and me, we go way back. I've discovered this brand probably 5 years ago and have always been impressed with the quality and effectiveness of their products. FRESH is a fusion of natural ingredients, rituals and modern science which results in unique products. It all started with an apothecary store in 1991 ( read more about the story behind the brand HERE). Today, FRESH is known worldwide and has an array of products: from skincare, body care to fragrance.I'll be going through some of my Fresh skincare essentials below. SOY FACE CLEANSER
The Soy face cleanser is hands down one of my favourite out there. It's gentle on all skin types, gets rid of all your make up — even mascara! Tested and approved — while keeping your skin hydrated and soft. It's made with ingredients that each has a specific role. The amino acid-rich soy proteins help support the skin's elasticity and health. The Rosewater and cucumber extract will help soothe the skin, while the borage seed oil is there for nourishment. The Soy Face is the number one cleanser and make up remover and FRESH celebrates its success by releasing this year, a limited-edition look and jumbo size. It has a special illustration on the bottle. I personally think a third girl is missing up there: a dark skin one ;) I'm convinced I'm not the only black girl who is a huge fan of Fresh ... so may be the next illustration will have my face on it :P
ROSE DEEP HYDRATION FACIAL TONER
An essential step in my skincare routine. This alcohol-free toner is infused with real rose petals to remove residual impurities, refine the appearance of pores, and soften skin. It smells so good: it's a treat every time I use it. It also contains rosewater and rose flower oil to help soothe and nourish the skin, while angelica leaf extract and hyaluronic acid help to retain moisture.Rarely do I skip the toner in my routine. It completes the cleaning process by removing all remaining dirt, while adding a boost of hydration and preps my skin for what's to come next.
ROSE DEEP HYDRATION MOISTURIZER
The perfect day cream! The Rose Deep Hydration Moisturizer is infused with soothing rosewater and rose flower oil which provides a 24-hour moisture.
Hydrating, not oily and ideal for summer weather. It has a sweet smell of rose, not overpowering and a little goes a long way. You can use it as a make up base as well.
LOTUS YOUTH PRESERVE RESCUE MASK
I use a mask at least once a week. I do have a few on my skincare bathroom shelf and this is one of my favorites. 5 minutes is all you need to say " Aurevoir " to dull and dry skin; and " Bonjour " to a fresh nourished and radiant skin. The Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue mask is a blend of kombu seaweed, red algae, and lotus seed powder. I apply a generous amount on my skin on a circular motion, let it sit for a few minutes, add warm water to gently massage my skin, rinse it out et voilà.
CRÈME ANCIENNE SOFT CREAM
This cream is extremely nourishing while being light. I apply a nice amount on my face at night and wake up with a deeply nourished and glowy skin in the morning. I love the whipped texture and how easily it melts into my skin. Crème Ancienne " visibly reduces the signs of aging while providing 24-hour moisture". It's made with meadow foam seed oil, echinacea extract, vitamin E, which offers antioxidant protection against wrinkle-causing free radicals, and chamomile wax. Crème Ancienne does come at a high price, indulge if you can. Otherwise, definitely pick up the Rose Deep Hydration moisturizer. You won't regret it.
