14 DAYS WITH LISE WATIER SUBLIMESSENCE NUIT REGENERATING SERUM
" You don't look your age" // " your skin looks so clear "
That's usually how people react when I tell them my age; which is incredibly flattering every single time. It's all thanks to good genes ( yes I got to admit that ), drinking lots of water, having a balanced diet and my focus on maintaining a skincare routine which fits my needs. Recently, I've partnered with Lise Watier to put my night to the test with the Sublimessence Nuit Regenerating Serum 14-day journey.
First of all, if you're not using a serum in your night or day skincare routine, your skin is missing out big time! Serums are the foundation of my skincare and have helped me solve issues such as uneven tone, dark spots, firmness etc. Why? Because serums contain the highest concentration of active ingredients. It’s important to invest in the right serum for your skin type in order to receive fast and visible results.
MORE ON LISE WATIER'S SUBLIMESSENCE NUIT REGENERATING SERUM
On February 1st, 2018, Lise Watier released Sublimessence Nuit Regenerating Serum — a new nourishing anti-aging night oil powered by natural ingredients. The serum is non-comedogenic, dermatologically tested and silicone free. It has a nice ( not overbearing ) scent of green tea and for a good reason: the serum has a double concentration of Labrador Tea extract which is the most powerful antioxidant. The serum also contains extracts of the Belle de Nuit flower which has night regeneration properties.
Anti-oxydants help with skin regeneration at night and are known for protecting against free radicals you get from exposure to pollution, sun, smoke etc. Using an anti-oxydant serum in your night or day routine will actually help boost the efficiency of your sunscreen.
I use the Lise Watier Sublimessence nuit serum every night after cleaning my skin as usual. To make sure my skin absorbs the product properly, I always spray thermal water on my face, wait a few seconds, then massage in the serum. I think it makes a difference when your skin is damped versus dry. I only use 2-3 drops and that is more than enough, which is a bonus because the serum will last for months. Then, I apply my eye serum, vitamin c and night cream comme d'habitude!
MY THOUGHTS ON SUBLIMESSENCE
My thoughts on the serum? Honestly, I love it. I've mentioned in my stories earlier this week that of course, it would take more than two weeks to notice an impact on wrinkles, so I'll keep you updated on that. However, I've definitely noticed the following improvements:
Skin texture: as shared in my Instagram stories, I've noticed that my skin got smoother with each application.
Nourishment: I always wake up to a skin that feels nourished and hydrated. My skin does not dry in the morning.
Glow: Overall, my complexion has improved. My skin looks healthier.
Should you give it a try?! I'd definitely say yes if you want to invest in a serum. I have been sold on the anti-oxydant properties which are for me very important to address my needs.Lise Watier Sublimessence nuit serum will be available online as of February 1, 2018 and also via major Canadian pharmacies and stores such as Pharmaprix, Jean Coutu, Uniprix, Hudson Bay etc ...*Post sponsored by Lise Watier , as usual, all opinions are my own.
